What is Charrette?
char·rette /SHəˈret/
a meeting in which all stakeholders in a project attempt to resolve conflicts and map solutions.
-
Come together.
Now in its sixth year, Association Charrette brings together diverse thought leaders from across the association industry.
Participants bring their executive mindsets - in their many different forms and with varied levels of experience - to engage in rich discussions, challenging each other and the status quo, to strengthen and advance the association profession.
-
Grow professionally.
You will engage in deep, insightful conversation about emerging trends and disruptions impacting the association environment. The depth of exploration and engagement brings forward ideas, new approaches, and reflections you’ll be able to use when returning to your everyday work after the event.
During the event you’ll also have time to bring forward a specific problem of practice to solicit advice and guidance from a group of your peers.
-
Elevate your network.
Association Charrette is designed to be a truly immersive experience. From arrival to departure, the group travels, eats, discovers, and learns together. The experience of engaging in shared reflection and learning creates deep bonds among participants which are sustained long after the event ends.
-
A community of support and growth.
Charrette alumni have gone on to become ASAE Fellows, present at conferences, and been elevated to CEO or other senior positions. They also sustain a strong peer network where they advise and guide each other on various topics.
